GOKAI-THE FIVE REIKI PRINCIPLES

Traditionally reiki practitioners regarded these five principles as their basic philosophy of life.They chanted them once in the morning and once in the evening.

Usui Sensei noticed that people would overcome disease using reiki treatment but would often come back with new health problems.He realized that if people want to be completely healthy they need to look after their psychological health along with the physical health.

So he developed these 5 principles called the Gokai.He calls it "The secret method of inviting happiness-spiritual medicine for all diseases".

Usui Sensei highly recommends that reiki practitioners chant the words with hands folded in prayer position morning and evening..
